Day by day goes by and pounds of sweat fall, month by month, but the change has been minimum. My weight goes from 255 pounds to 260 like a pendulum it comes back after are the pounds are shed off.
I’ve been using my new Apple watch Ultra, now it lasts almost 2 days on a single charge. That’s a game-changer, I expected it to be good but it really surprised me. Even if I haven’t lost any mass, probably gained some muscle, I need something to measure that because before when I didn’t see the progress I got unmotivated. But then I see the activity circles and closing those feels like I’m achieving something.
I remember when I was in college, I put a pebble-size electronic step counter on my Nike shoes and I began my journey. Back then, I was doing approximately 1/2 hour maybe more of only running in the morning and in the evening. But back then, I didn’t need to have some pain killers the next day. I felt fine after a fast jog, it kept my pounds off and my heart beating. If I did it then I can manage it now and now I have no excuses – good job, good pay, and time to study and better myself. My health is coming to my sight and I want to get everything in order. After all, my dad suffered a lot with weight, it kept him down of many things that he wanted to do. But for me, my motivation is the future, saving here and there and splurging now and then.

The path is “easy” – do what I did before and I think it’s beginning to work, I have been almost 160 days closing my activities rings and it feels good. I’m getting some passion back. The past two weeks, I have been out of my static bike and into the sidewalk began to put additional pressure on my body and without any pain (knock on wood). Now I need a little more relaxation, maybe I will start meditating and 1/2 hour more of exercise in the morning. Balance is the key, and I expected it to pay off in the future.
