Beautiful Fantasy

What do you do when fantasy sounds better than reality?

When the echoes become so loud they make reality feel unreal.

When trust dissolves through ignorance.

Who is there to say no?

The fabric of the world feels tampered with, pulled apart by foreign hands we can't see.

When we nurture our creations but not our own education.

Who will survive, and who will adapt?

Our machines have outgrown our expectations.

But somewhere behind the curtain, the strings are still strung by zeros and ones.

And art bends to hands that aren't ours.

Who will we become if we no longer trust ourselves?

It's sold to us as a beautiful fantasy, but in the end, we are still the owners of our own mistakes.

Beautiful fantasy, but a fantasy nonetheless.

Our clock stands still as we watch what is wrong, until we rise to protect what is right.

Let us look to the skies, to the mountains, to everything that existed before us and everything that will remain after us, and understand: we are not the few.

We are the many.
