Love Across Monsoons and Moonlight

A crescent moon, most of its face in shadow, against a black sky

Seeing the black night
Three fourths of your light missing from the sky
The moon is made of cheese
But it looks like a banana

Different sky on your side
But fear not, you’ll see the night
Even when I’m not at your side
I will be your knight

Fruit and cheese
What a weird combination
But it makes me think of you
What a great veneration

Tick-tock,
I’ll be your rock
Quick stop
I’m moving shop

See you soon
After a few monsoons
Even when all leaves fall
I’ll be by your side
